WBB: 2026 Transfer Portal

Whelp, tomorrow is Trash Day in terms of the news cycle. This is usually when the worse news gets dropped after 5pm on Fridays when no one is paying too close attention, plus with the Men’s game tomorrow night it’s too perfect of a trash day for Bill/AD to drop the Audi news and few people will catch it or pay attention. And they’ve been timing one per 24 hours, so guessing Audi’s comes tomorow
I wonder if AJ goes if Audi does, even if she is really a true Cyclones. I always thought Audi was also.

POSSIBLE AUDI TEAMS

two schools still in the tournament that will need to replace their inside presence are:
1) Oklahoma - both 6’4” Regan Beers annd 6’3” back up Culliton are seniors and Audi likely know the coach and Williams (from Waterloo) well. And freshman top rated recruit Chavez is very talented.
2) Vanderbilt graduates three starters who are 6’2”, 6’2” and 6’4” …. And they have a very dynamic backcourt where Audi played with sophomore Blake’s last summer representing USA.
Both schools are SEC so likely deeper pockets for NIL (driven by league football $s).

I could see Audi playing with either team. She would not be the focal point on offense but I could see her playing with either team and elevating them to be final four contenders.

It requires some serious mental gymnastics to reach the conclusion that NIL is the issue with this program. Give me a break.
I agree.
I do believe Fennelly has a good point when he says it’s hard to get quality transfers in because of limited NIL funds.
But posters who claim “Addy, Jada left for more $$” have no idea; they’re just making stuff up.

I hope not, but I’ve mentally prepared myself at this point to lose everyone. AJ really wouldn’t have much of a reason to stay unless she wanted to be the focal point, but knowing Bill he’ll just find another favorite and force AJ to pass it off to her

My 2 cents, I think Audi stays.
I had heard from a reliable source prior to the Syracuse game she was gone, but I wonder with Addy and Jada money being freed up, if they just give her the brinks truck and surround her with ISU passionate players (AJ, Comito) and mid-major bench players wanting to play a level up

I heard the same from another source- they haven’t been wrong in the past.
I get the logic behind backing the brinks truck up for Audi, but it’s going to be really hard to watch another season of dribble, dribble, dribble then lob into Audi. Then again, if she does leave it’s gonna be hard to watch next season anyways.

If she is gone, it could just dribble dribble turnover and no basket. Audi did a hell of a job catching a lot of those lobs that no one else could have

It would be interesting to see what we would do with no star on the team. We’ve had a had a star to run the offense through for almost 10 years straight.

Our offense would almost assuredly be worse than this year, but it would have to get dynamic also.

This hawks douche is horrible, so insufferable. Can you imagine having to deal with this person in real life?

That’s because you don’t like hearing differing options. I haven’t said one untrue thing as it pertains to human nature. If you weren’t an extreme douche yourself about stupid crap, you’d honestly never know…

One thing I’ve learned in life is this….

People love to think they have original opinions and their thoughts are theirs & “right!” When someone’s ignorant I enjoy pointing out someone somewhere thinks the same thing about them…it’s important for you to believe “Iowa fans are awful” . But since I’ve been everywhere as it pertains to fan sites, I know it’s just a human being/fan thing….we need to believe we are “better”

But in reality people are people. Some just can’t get past their nature.

If you weren’t obnoxious about your fandom or life, never in 100 years would you know I existed. Im a lover, but I don’t care for ignorant morons who say ****** things & can’t be honest with themselves.

Them, I am most assuredly, going to point out their faulty logic

I’m truly baffled how this happens and not one person in a leadership role has said a word. This is ridiculous. The whole team is leaving, it’s not NIL!! Not a chance that someone like A Williams is leaving for that. If Bill isn’t retiring I have no clue, if he is and isn’t announcing then why not?? Why prolong the retirement announcement? Audi is gone, nobody should pretend she isn’t.
If he hasn't said anything by now, he's not leaving.

I can't imagine any player interested in coming here at the moment..... Pollard has made some great hires Fennelly included, but man has he dropped the ball in my view by not addressing the state of affairs with the women's BB program and the issues with the womens gymnastics program. Maybe he will soon.

Women's basketball is hard to watch, period.

The latter is just the push they need to make the move when offered the cash.

Jada, Audi and Addy will each cash huge payday and the promise to be part of a winning championship team. That is ultimately why they are leaving.

In regards to Jada, she seemed to not have any beef with the staff a short week ago when she paused and thanked them for helping her find the love for basketball again after her stint at Arizona.

Everyone is so quick to blanket CBF the bad guy when it is simply not the case with all these transfers.

As Jerry Mguire said ..... SHOW ME THE MONEY
Dude, just think this through. There are 2 in that group of 6-7 that have announced that can pull some funds. The rest are not making anything. No one is leaving a team to go from 2k to 5k.
