You won't see a lot of better basketball games than what was on display in Kansas City on Friday night. The problem for Iowa State? Arizona got the last shot.
Jake Brend reports from the T-Mobile Center as the Cyclones head home feeling confident for a deep run in March.

Glad to hear JJeff say that about Toure. We all need to remember how Toure played the first half or more of the season. We knew he could get back there and it appears he has turned the corner. That Toure along with the even better Batemon we have seen improving each and every week, makes the ISU guard court formidable.

@JakeBrend Great report. There was so much in those 6 minutes!

1. Both teams shot 13 of 15 at the end. Made 11 straight at the end, including 7 of 7 from three.

2. TJ and the guys were all over the talking point of us being a Final Four team. They made the case for not being a #3 seed by stating that we are a #1 seed caliber team.

3. Did Milan admit to a strategy of pushing off to get open? Bradley was certainly doing it too, especially on his penulimate shot before the gamewinner.

4. Very interesting to hear Jefferson, Heise, and even Toure himself reflect on his playing with confidence.

Was this a new level of access to players in the locker room after the game? It was awesome to be able to hear so much from so many players.
