New floor for Big 12 MBB/WBB

So, it is a giant TV laying on the ground that you can stand on?

Looks like the lines are "on top" in case of malfunction or I guess even nefarious moving of lines.

This is only cool if it's not just a way to have scrolling adds during breaks and they do team specific things during breaks.

i do wonder how long it'll take for something like this to take off in regular arenas, including Hilton, if it doesn't prove to be an injury risk.

I'm sure these courts aren't cheap, but the ad space may be valuable enough to make it something schools jump in on

During each matchup, visual effects displayed on the court could include:
  • Dynamic court designs
  • Shot charts
  • Interactive games for fans during timeouts
  • Immersive animations following key plays and moments

Why did they hype it up for a week? It's cool but they made it less cool by acting like it was going to be some earth shattering news, they should have just announced it one day lol.

Clever way to entertain people waiting for the ridiculously long TV time outs to end.

AI search indicates an ASB glass floor only costs about $2,000,000...

Here is them showing each school's home floor, and I see an alternate "dark mode" [my term] for each. I sure hope we never see that TCU floor displayed in KC:
