Chris Williams sits down with Iowa State Head Coach Jimmy Rogers to give him a more personal look at the roster-building process for the 2026 Iowa State Football team.

Enjoy!

He is very genuine. Looking forward to the no BS zone with his interviews which will be refreshing.

Also, he's wearing a black ISU cap. Black unis are staying....lol sorry, I had to kick that dog.

Toward the end he is fidgeting big time, this doesnt seems like a guy that can sit still. I resonate, assuming they dont do many lengthy sit down meetings, he probably can last 30 minutes.

He seemed really eager to get out and meet with high school coaches in the state of Iowa. I'll bet he connects with them in a very different way. No rah rah, but he will make the case for sending recruits to the good guys.

Couple things I noticed...

1. Can tell where he came from is very important to him. He smiles a lot reminiscing on where he came from and who was important to him.

2. Football is serious to him. Limited smiling or joking when it came to anything football related.

3. Very process driven individual.

4. Focuses on he can meet players where they are at while also holding them accountable.
