Coach Fennelly has conversations with every player at the end of the season. Pretty much lays out what they have to work on and how it will impact playing time. There are also the tough conversations (likely had one with Hansford) about the need to look elsewhere for a better fit.

But…if you’ve watched her all season she’s been getting good minutes and performing quite well. Drake game was a good example. The opening just gave her a bigger opportunity that she was ready for.

If Reagan weren't ready to step in at backup PG, I'm guessing the other option would have been Arianna sliding over to play PG in relief of Jada (while still playing ~20 mpg at SG). That would have opened more PT for really just about any non-post player.

I think that they would use Addy to initiate the offense and bring in a guard for the defensive end and shooting.
