He’s right. Iowa State isn’t one person and never has been.

So is all criticism of Pollard being silenced? I'm just trying to figure out what's going on. Heard about Blum and the not Chris Williams CF co-founder posting some insightful information about this whole thing only to find absolutely zip here. Guessing the mods are silencing the voices, but I'd like a little context.

There was a lot posted on the premium boards. Then a podcast last night that some are interpreting as “backtracking” while others saying it was more of a “clarification”.

Some are insinuating the AD applied pressure to walk back some of the statements and engage in some kind of damage control: others are denying this.

A lot of drama

I don't know....he is the guy that has been in charge as this thing has crawled out of the dumpster fire the last 20 years...seems pretty good

Football has been relevant, bball might have the best women's team and men's team in the country .....seems good

Guy never left when he could have, unlike everyone else....seems good.

I'm about done ******** about the guy. He's not perfect, but I'm done ******** about semantics.

Anybody else unable to read any homepage stuff on CF from their phone? This has been going since late last week.

Forums are all great, but every news post from the main page goes really slow trying to load ads, then hard crashes the browser.

Blum addressed it on the Sunday pod for a good 5-10 min

Blum’s position went from ‘preventable’ to ‘nobody’s fault’.

I’d give that a clear backtracking vote.

There are always going to be disagreements in how to structure something that is completely new, particularly when some parties are narrowly focused on making it as effective as possible while other parties have to worry about big picture things too.

In fairness, I think you can reasonably conclude something was preventable without pointing fingers at a single person or single event.

This was surely a confluence of factors that lead to this.
