I, for one, liked the runway clearing story and appreciation.
If I'm not mistaken he eluded to being in it for the long haul at WSU too.
Feels like some people are just now looking for anything to hate on for Pollard. He ain't perfect and I do believe some NIL changes should be made, but my guess is many of them don't realize just how far behind we were in all things athletics. In 2004 we were dead last in the Big 12...and still would have been even if we had double the donations.
In fairness, I don't think he expected Campbell to ever leave either.

Every coach says that, and has to say that. I won't hold that against him when a job like this one came open unexpectedly.
Not sure what I expected from all of this but a Tokyo Drift reference is a good start to winning me over...
