How is no one talking about this new series?! They’ve dropped two eps and it’s bonkers in a crazy good way.

There was a bit of talk about it in the 'what's streaming' thread, i watched both when they came out last week, looks like it has a lot of potential

Have to work my way through eleventy-nine seasons of ER first.

The other night, watched "Burn Witch, Burn" on Prime for a light-hearted change of pace.

As someone already mentioned there was some talk about it in the What’s Streaming thread, but I think this show might be so good it deserves its own thread, so thanks for starting one!

It has been great so far.

Yeah Ive been loving it too. Definitely a lot to question. Take advantage of the situation like the playboy did? Or fight it like Carol. Its easy to take the path of the playboy but at what cost for everyone else? Definitely had me thinking.

I am going to try and be as delicate as I can here without spoilers. But I think we're already seeing a crack in the hive mind with Zosia.

The other thought to debate is are the people actually "alive" or are they all actually dead with their memories retained by the hive mind, as we saw with it retaining Helen's memories?

Exactly. And why did some not survive the transition.

There are probably many that died from accidents, from falling and hitting their head, as in Helen's case, or other more traumatic incidents.
Was it as simple as that? I must have missed it. I thought some just didnt take well. Guess I put too much into that theory ;)

I had the same initial reaction as you. I think it's probably that simple for most but agree that it maybe didn't "take" for some and they died.

Maybe...but it was said that over 800 million died. If they care about people and not hurting them I don't see them being honky dory with that death count haha

"We just want to help, Carol."

That was unnerving as ****.

Also that was a great long take with her driving away from town in the truck, with everything unfolding behind her.

I'm hooked.

3 episodes in -- not much ongoing chatter here...

Not sure about this one yet, whether it's worth the investment - although anything associated with Gilligan usually pays off in the long run
