Did they have darker weird colored Orange suit jackets on? I'm pretty sure I saw those guys twice if that's who they were. I was going to just ask them but they looked like grumpy SOBs.
 
It’s interesting the different perspectives. There are probably 50 other games that I’d ***** about the length of the game before I’d ***** about Saturday’s. It was such a beautiful night and I must be used to the long timeouts because I didn’t think it was so bad.

When you are pounding a team, those things don’t bother you.

the mention of the bowl reps had me thinking what the bowl projections were. Most of them either had us in the Alamo bowl or in the CFP.

Sports Illustrated had us missing a bowl game completely.

Mostly because the people who complain always exaggerate.

"It was a four-hour game!" No, it was 3:30.

NFL halftimes are 13 minutes. College is 20 in the regular season (not 22-24). Ref winds the clock as he leaves the field, and when it hits 0:00, the third quarter starts. No dicking around.

Correct. And I guess I’m not media like CW so he has a different perspective than me. but he was really irritated about it. It was a lot of the time on the postgame pod and a lot last night. I don’t think Blum was as irritated about it as he was.

Honestly I thought the first half was quick. Second half was longer. But I wasn’t just dying for the game to end.

We you are so excited for the game and you get stuck with 3 (i think) reviews in 8 minutes... Its a damned disaster.

Watching the refs milling about with their thumbs up their butts waiting to be told to jog to the micro camera... what a ******* joke. Run faster dummy! There needs to be one TV ref for every game. Refs on the field ask for help, TV ref has 30 seconds to watch/consult/decide. TV ref ultimately decides. If 30 seconds cannot be met, immediately call on field stands, moving on.

The hind judge was poor. Worst was giving a first down when a yard short. Ump didn’t move the ball and nodded no to him but he moved the sticks anyhow

I though the 2 minute time out in the 4th quarter was too long. I get that they have to take it, but neitber team was going to scheme anything to change the outcome and there should have been plenty of time outs and play stopages to show all the commercials that were scheduled to run. Also don't need full timeouts at the end of that game when all Arizona was trying to do was stop the clock. Stop the clock, line up and continue play.

That crew we had Saturday night is one of the worst in the league. They just had no idea all night long. The David Alvarez crew and the Kevin Mar crew are the two that I dread seeing the most.

Agree, those reviews were dumb. I just didn’t think the first half drug on.

Now if we want to talk about the idiot refs who refused to make a decision, I’m right there with you.

The money isn’t there for Arkansas in football. Their boosters are trying to win a National Championship in basketball and baseball. They don’t believe they can win in football so they aren’t putting their money behind it
 
I watched on TV. I thought the pace of the game was ok. Arizona messed things up in the 4th quarter when they didn’t recognize defeat. I get wanting your team to play hard the entire game, but sometimes you have to be real about the fact you can’t win. The timeouts at the end were pretty stupid too.
