Of all the road ISU games that I've been to Oklahoma State has had the most complimentary and welcoming fans that I've encountered. I heard tons of them saying things along the lines of "thanks for coming" and just general appreciation from their fans being super cordial. What have been your good road team experiences? Random thought, but bye week.

Been to K-State twice and had good experiences. Of course, that is when we were terrible and not a threat.

Outside of Iowa City, I’ve had good experiences at over a dozen ISU road games. Nebraska fans were always great to ISU fans in the 2 games I went.

I'll second this.
The worst, other than Hawks, was UNLV. They were asshats. That was the first time we played there so maybe it changed

Been to OU, Minn, UNLV and Colo. The Sooner fans were decent. The Buffs fans were nice and many were baked before kickoff. The Minny game was in the Metrodome and had a stale atmosphere.

West Virginia fans are great. Last year I was offered moonshine within 5 minutes of parking the car and was offered food after mentioning I got my masters from WVU. They do like to talk their **** though. Oklahoma fans were nice as well, very appreciative of fans who made the trip.

OU fans were cool. I was probably way too into the game when they smacked us around in 2023 but they were nice. Gaylord Memorial Stadium was cool too.

I actually had a great experience at Allen Fieldhouse last year when I went to the bball game solo. Was pleasantly surprised
Son went to several games at OU. They were nice to him when we won and when we lost.

I was at the 2008 game in Vegas against UNLV. Yeah, not great all around. Their 50 fans were terrible and that loss was also awful.

OSU (W)(Brock’s coming out game), KSU (L), A&M (W), WVU (W) were all very welcoming and appreciative.

No real bad experiences except Baylor when we RGIII was there.

KSU fans were good to us when we went to Manhattan. That was back in the Rhoads era (not that game fortunately), so maybe they’d be testier now that Campbell has been teabagging them.

Texas fans were nice down in Austin.

Agree that Ireland was a very pleasant fan experience. Of course that was a unique setting, and I wasn’t looking to throw down with the Johnsons.
