Dolphins at Bills will be more exciting than the CFB game tonight, which ain’t saying much

Who would have ever thought, not even that many years ago, that Illinois vs Indiana would be the prime time night game.

I wish CFB hadn't basically abandoned thursday night when the NFL started doing thursdays. Most of the time the thursday NFL game is ass.
I can't remember what Podcast I was listening to but they said they talked to Yormark at this past media days and told him that the Big 12 should try to take over Thursday Night's CFB wise with a game each week.

I think a really good number of college football fans would tune into a good Thursday college game over these crap NFL games. The NFL is a beast no matter what but I don’t think that stops a good viewership for college

And in an era where split screen viewing is more and more common, you'd probably see people putting both up on their tvs.

Would love SMU to lose 4th straight against Big 12 after committee said they were better than entire big 12 despite head to head home loss. Probably most overrated team since we switched to the small biased committee.

No. This is suicide. Look at how the CFB playoff games did versus run of the mill NFL regular season games last year.

Check this out, SMU vs Big 12 schools over past few years...

2021:
@TCU W 42-34
@Houston L 44-37
UCF W 55-28
@Cincy L 48-14

2022:
TCU L 42-34
@UCF L 41-19
Cincy L 29-27
Houston W 77-63
BYU L 24-23

2023:
@OU L 28-11
@TCU L 34-17

2024:
BYU L 18-15
TCU W 66-42

2025:
Baylor L 48-45

4-10 record (2-8 if you go back a year less)...but last year CFP farted out that SMU was better than the entire 16 team Big 12

Is anybody pulling for the Hawks just so our victory over them looks better? I mean, if they lose to Rutgers, that pretty much ends any discussion of them meaning anything the rest of the year.
In what universe does it matter how our win against them "looks"? Personally I hope they get smashed tonight, and every other week for the rest of this season and every season after that.
