Fresh Randy Peterson column for you all!

He breaks down the impact of Rocco Becht.

Rocco was very good yesterday- receivers not so much. Overby dropped two perfectly thrown balls that change the game completely. I hope he gets it going because we will need him.

Well in one of them Nwampa took his head off, so I can't really blame that one.

Me, when I learn from an Uncle Randy column that Rocco has had eight opportunities in his career to make a game winning drive at the end of a game and won seven of them. And 2024 Texas Tech was the only one that got away I believe.

I disagree that Rocco was very good yesterday, as he missed just as many throws as his receivers dropped, but it is unquestionable he held that thing together when they were struggling as bad as they were. There’s no question he’s the leader the entire team rallies behind.

Rocco was just okay yesterday. But there is no else else I’d trust leading the offense than him. Even when we get his B-game, he is still nails as a leader.
