Milan Momcilovic withdraws from the 2026 NBA Draft

I didn't come up with it. I responded to the guy who felt the need to clarify that a metaphor was not literal. Looks like his clarification helped you gather that much.

Williams & Blum: Congress vs. College Sports, Momcilovic Gone & Texas Tech Fires Back

What CW and Blum are missing is that the opposition (mostly Democrats) is saying that the bill limits what athletes can earn while leaving coach, AD, and executive salaries untouched. The bill would cap player pay, restrict player movement and still have no union. The labor wing is saying the...

Milan Momcilovic withdraws from the 2026 NBA Draft

This completely ignores nuance. You don't commit to a place out of high school and play 3 years there without a "romantic" connection. He could've had more money after last season. It wasn't business the "whole time". It was unfortunate timing and scenario with him genuinely exploring the NBA...

    Which state is most Midwestern?

The history of Kansas definitely has some Dixie in it. And if you visit KU, it has some SEC frat culture. People in Kansas and Oklahoma can be prickly. Nebraska by comparison is much more Midwest nice. Too many abortion and Jesus signs in Kansas for me to feel midwest. I'd rank them Iowa...

Have we ditched that one? I kinda liked it because it was unique and the students actually got it down pretty well

ISU RELEASE: 2026 Cy-Hawk game will kick at 6:30 and be broadcast on NBC

2 coaches in 45 years is one hell of a run. Surely they're due for a really bad hire or 3. Surely.

ISU RELEASE: 2026 Cy-Hawk game will kick at 6:30 and be broadcast on NBC

Maybe. Nebraska last won 9 games in 2016. They are 67-75 since they fired Pelini. They might get back to winning 8-9 games, but they aren't going to be some power. Same with Wisconsin.

ISU RELEASE: 2026 Cy-Hawk game will kick at 6:30 and be broadcast on NBC

Iowa's schedule will be tougher than the Big 10 west days, but not by much when they're locked into playing Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Nebraska every year. Especially with Wisconsin falling off and Nebraska never meeting the hype. Minnesota has become the toughest of the 3, and Ferentz owns Fleck.

    Football traditions.

I remember going to the stadium on one of the first days of my freshman year to learn all of these. It was brutal. If you go back and watch games from that era, it's pretty laughable how small time it was and how badly we were trying and failing at creating a game day atmosphere. The south...

ISU OC Tyler Roehl demands one thing from his players: "Play with physicality"

Hope we can back up the talk. I was a little surprised that CW and Blum were both matter of fact about the OL being above average on a recent pod. There are some bodies, but I'm skeptical of finding 5 good OL transfers in year 1. I'm interested in seeing Moberly as a gadget running QB, and I...

Milan Momcilovic tweets "entering NBA draft and portal"

I don't think he goes to Kentucky just because it seems like a bit of a **** show right now. He's not comng back to ISU, not sure why our fans are wasting energy at that possibility. The "high stock" line of thought is probably the most convincing to me, but I stil think he ultimately takes a...
