    College Gameday longshot predictions

Do you honestly think that the production script for College Gameday called for Kirk Herbstreit to openly cry on cue on the air? Good grief.

    College Gameday longshot predictions

Kirk Herbstreit is a well-known acting talent when he's not talking about college football. Most underrated actor of his generation.

    Louisiana Added to Schedule

I don't think I've seen anyone proclaiming them a "juggernaut"; rather I think people see a team that wins 11 games, even in a lesser conference, and IMO rightly feel that this won't be a traditional non-conference patsy of a team that our backups could roll over. I'm pretty sure that Coach...

KenPom ranks CBB Programs since 1997

I love KenPom. No issues at all spending $20/year for a subscription, especially when it puts out cool stuff like this. I can't believe I'm the first to point out that we're 4 spots ahead of Iowa. As for the Big 12, we rank 6th out of 10 teams, just ahead of Baylor who is 41. All in all I...

****Official Class of 2021 Recruiting Thread****

Well...about that... But, I'm glad we're in on this kid; heck, sounds like he's already drinking the Cyclone Kool-Aid.

    Marvel Cinematic Universe

I watched the series finale earlier today, and I must have had some dust floating around in the room at certain points... Anyway, I really enjoyed the finale. I thought it hit all the right spots and left everyone in a good place. I liked the final season; not as much as I've liked other...

    Yellowstone - new TV "western"

I've enjoyed the series since the very first episode; with that being written I also find it to be a bit unbelievable at times, and I really have to suspend my sense of disbelief. So...after Walker disappears last season, with knowing that if he ever shows his face again that he might be killed...

How many texts does Steve Prohm send in a day?

I think that's just the life of a college basketball coach these days. I imagine he doesn't text anymore than guys like Self, Roy Williams, etc. Can you imagine Bob Knight texting with his players or recruits like this though? That would have just made him angrier than he already was.

    RIP Wilford Brimley

I just looked for that scene on YouTube as well and couldn't find it, but I do think this scene is a pretty good one with him as well.

    RIP Wilford Brimley

You beat me to the punch. I was going to post a "The Thing"-related YouTube video of him, as I don't think enough people pay enough attention to this gem of a movie or his gem of a character in it. I just re-watched this movie within the last couple of months, but I think I might have to watch...

Poll: Have you been tested for COVID-19?

I've been tested three different times for work (I'm in a quasi-health care field), and I will be tested twice more in August as well. The first time was the nasal swap, which I don't care to repeat anytime soon. The last two have been throat swabs, which are much more tolerable. Thankfully...

    Star Trek Universe Thread

So, I hadn't seen or ever heard about this until now, even though I'm a big Star Trek fan. Anyway, looks like a cartoon that is visually appealing to kids, but is really meant for adults? Either way, I'll definitely check it out.

    Breckenridge

Being a Colorado resident myself (I love in Steamboat Springs, a couple of hours north of Breck) I can objectively and subjectively write that Colorado has done a pretty good job of managing the Coronavirus. That being written though, there has been a recent uptick in numbers, although not as...

Buena Vista - Salida Colo Libations

Yes, most definitely. I stopped by there and did a night in Salida as part as of a Colorado road trip a few years ago. Definitely make the time to stop and have a brew or two at Elevation. #2 on your list, Moonlight, is also a good place.

    Athletic Article About Coach Campbell

Beat me to the punch. I was about to copy and paste the link. Great story about CMC's beginnings and his background. And I also encourage anyone who enjoys good sports journalism to check out The Athletic. Once my Sports Illustrated subscription runs out (which will be a sad moment no matter...
