I am interested to see if bidding for players goes up as summer approaches and more and more players sign or...does it goes down as more and more schools use up their NIL. The schools that have deep pockets will run out of roster spots as well.- clone96cr

I think they are supposed to validate that the NIL purchaser (The University or private company) is getting something in return for use of the NIL of the athlete. For example, a car dealership has to show that using Cooper Flagg's NIL in commercials actually generated web traffic on their car...- clone96cr

I live in eastern Iowa and have a lot of Hok friends, None of them wanted Fran gone because it would lead to this. But once Fran was gone, they all wanted McCollum over DeVries. (granted this is just my group of friends that felt this way)- clone96cr

He is a nice player and will do fine at the high major level. But ranking him as the number 1 or 2 player in the portal this year is laughable. This is why no one should get bent outta shape about missing this highly ranked player or that highly ranked player. Scouting is a crap shoot.- clone96cr

Iowa State Transfer Tracker 2025
Pretty sure the NCAA-NIL settlement has led to expanding to 15 scholarships for men's basketball. So, it would make sense walk-ons may not be a thing for much longer.- clone96cr

Not worth a mil to us for sure, we have to prioritize other players on the roster and in the portal. But their value is whatever the market will bear.
