    Well you obviously haven’t been in a John Deere dealership either. Tesla doesn’t have dealerships. That’s the point.

    Most EV companies don’t have massive taj majal buildings to maintain. I work for John Deere, not a car dealership, but 100% our dealerships try to break even on sales and then make money on service.

    Because customers that buy your vehicles are the primary ones who use your services. Especially when they lease.

    This is so frustrating. At one point I thought the massive tariff on Chinese SUV’s made sense. Now that domestic manufacturers have given up we need to start letting BYD and Xiaomi sell here.

    I’m in the same boat. Had to buy a car for my 16 year old so I just keep driving my old beater. Someday. Next vehicle will be an EV for sure.
