This seems odd that Des Moines is so bad at putting out balanced sports radio. I see that KGYM out of Cedar Rapids has fired Todd Brommelkamp who tried so hard to be balanced but just could not because he was a hawkeye diehard and wore his emotions on his sleeve. They had 3 total local shows that has been reduced to one, and the one left was by far the best even though Todd claims otherwise and claims he was fired because he cost too much and claims that Spencer is just the lower cost, which might be true but he was also the best imo, the last man standing is Spencer on Sports who seems to not be a diehard Hawkeye fan so he is actually able to provide some balance. Spent the first hour covering the Cyclones today in the heart of Hawkeye land.
Is he the guy who requested ISU NCAA Tournament credentials at the last minute after the hoks got left out? Then got all pissy when Jamie told him to go pound sand? Good times.
Yeah, he was in the afternoons for a long time, then got moved to mornings. Lasted about a year on mornings.
Yes. Todd was mad he didn’t get press credentials for the Sweet 16 game in Chicago.
Miller is from Canada originally then was out in Denver for a spell.
I've listened to him off and on for 20 years and IMO he's never been bias towards ISU or Iowa...he wants both to be relevant as its good for business. I've always liked to hear what he has to say about ISU because I know its not coming from a fan. Some of the stuff he (and Trent) talk about just isn't my cup of tea but I've always liked them better than a lot of other people KXNO has had over the years.
So, if you take the KXNO predictions and data drive them.

Iowa mid: 8 games have majority W so 8-4
Iowa State already won the KSU game so their floor is now 5-7, Iowa is still at 4-8
Iowa State could go 12-0, no one sees Iowa better than 10-2
Both teams mid remains at 8-4 since KSU game was an ISU W (3 out of 5)
Eh, I’d have to disagree. He hates Pollard, hates Campbell, loved Fran, loves Ferentz, thinks Beth is the greatest thing since 7up, has said multiple times his favorite CBB player ever is Connie Mac. Listen closely when they have hok guests on vs Cyclone guests. He’s way more engaged/interested/ knowledgeable compared to the Cyclone guests.
In the years of listening I've heard him outwardly disagree and agree with Pollard decisions. Never once heard him say he doesn't personally dislike or like anyone.
I guess I've never heard a difference in how he interviews anyone....sometimes ISU fans go looking for the disrespect. I don't really see it here but that's just my opinion.
I only click on this thread every month or so to see if they finally announced they are shutting down.

The only thing anti-Campbell I've heard from him is about the whole hiding injuries from the press thing, but he only wants that because he's a degenerate gambler.
When he realized ISU didn’t need to put out an injury report this week since it wasn’t a conference game, he was beside himself. He’s too sauced up to realize that basically every conference only requires them for conference games only.
As if Campbell is the primary reason the dude goes 13-37 against the spread in their annual competition.

A decent amount since around 2006/2007...less in the off season and probably a little less since IE and CF podcasts came about.
I mean even yesterday Miller was objectively hard on the hawks, praised ISU, admitted he overreacts to CMC yet still gave him props. My personal opinion is that he just calls it like he sees it.
