I think the class is limited to centers. Royce could play center, but it wasn't his natural position. I think the answer is Cato and it isn't even close.

Cato is understandably getting a ton of votes with his huge defensive impact, but Alexander seems plenty worthy as well. The teams he was on weren't as good, so maybe he's under the radar a bit. But ~20 points per game for three straight years on solid efficiency is pretty impressive.



Alexander's offensive numbers were actually pretty comparable to Audi Crooks's numbers so far in her career.

Catos only offense was basically dunking, so he would be tough on a Johnny Orr type team that wanted everyone to be an offensive threat.

I didn't get to see him play but did see his "understudy" Bill Cain who was also a hell of a good center/power forward.
