Aer Lingus Classic items. Tickets, planning, etc.

We didn’t get the AerLingus travel package, just got tickets through them individually, so no package. We are doing side trips I found to Galway/Cliffs of Moher and Belfast/Giant’s Causeway, and I am so excited.

I am wondering, though, if I will need Dramamine? Has anyone taken those trips from Dublin via bus? I tend toward motion sickness these days, and wasn’t sure how much Dramamine I should pack.

I don't have issues with motion sickness, but I have visited the Cliffs/Galway areas. The destinations have narrow and winding roads. Rings of Kerry would also be included, if you are going there.

A gal on our trip that had motion sickness made sure that she always sat in front of the bus. I recall one time that she hadn't taken Dramamine early enough & definitely had some issues.

Good luck & enjoy your trip! Go Cyclones!!

Thank you so much! This is a huge help. I'll try to make sure to get there early and get near the front, and take the Dramamine before we leave. I appreciate you!

I'm not sure if it's because we bought the 3 city package, or the "experience package" at the stadium. Either way, I had no idea it was coming. Nice surprise. :)
it was probably for those who bought more then just game tickets, we have 3 tickets to the game, but didn't buy any of the packages, no box in the mail though.

Finished booking my travel plans earlier this week (3 days Dublin, 3 days Budapest), and still have to buy my ticket. Does anyone have insight on the "tailgate" scene that will be happening?
I saw there's still a $300 package available but I'm sure there are pubs nearby too.

In the app, they list The Bridge 1859 as Game Day Tailgating Pub.

Just make sure you drink the water from this town . . . . .
I watched the movie on Roku channel. It builds as it goes and has funny moments. Overall, just OK.

Got an email invite to an on location "ISU Welcome Party on AUG 22 today. Evening party at $275 pp. Think I am more of a Bangers and mash guy instead of Caviar and Lobster.

Yeah, no thank you. It also doesn't mention what time it's at and I'd be worried about it overlapping some with the pep rally at 6:45.

And it doesn't take a genius to figure out the sea of Cyclone fans leaving the pep rally and spilling into Temple Bar is the perfect recipe for an amazing evening of good ol' fashioned craic that shouldn't be missed by anyone making the trip.

Those not going expect to see EVERY ONE OF YOU pack this spot in front of the Temple Bar Pharmacy in Dublin while wearing CYCLONE GEAR. If we don't see you, you weren't there!!

Need some assistance with the ETA. I guess maybe I waited too long. :(

I went to one site and they wanted $22 plus $99 processing fee. Another site wanted 97 pounds for 3 day processing.

Can someone link a site that has been used for the ETA at a reasonable cost?

This is the official app that I used. Only cost about $22 and got instantaneous approval. Just need your passport.
