Merrill is going to have a tough run at this tournament.
He’ll hit #4 Bechtold in the 4th round. Would get Mocco in the semis and then presumably Ross in the finals. He’d hit #1, #3, and #4. Wow!

Is my assumption correct that both Merrill and Daniel Herrera are HWT ‘26/‘27? Anyone know their walk around weight or if 197 is an option for either?

Merrill is a pure HWT. I believe he weighed in at 275 at the US open.
stupid me, I was thinking Anthony Herrera, but it's Daniel Herrera.
Ahh got it, but yeah I am guessing Merrill will redshirt 26/27 and then may the best man win 27/28
