NBA: *** 2024 NBA thread ***

I’m fine with SGA being mvp because voter fatigue always happens, but he has had some really quiet quarters compared to about any Nikola Jokic quarter.

For real. The stuff they let Dort, and Caruso to a lesser extent, get away with is crazy. It reminds me so much of Huggins WVU teams. If they called every foul, they’d be fouled out in the first few minutes.

If pacers win mvp voting will be interesting because man they expend a ton of psycho energy trying to pick up Tyrese at half court.
 
Disjointed without haliburton. They're getting by on pure effort.
 
More and more stretches throughout series where Pacers looking more like the play that shredded the east.

This is a tougher test to be sure, but they can play the same way.

Throwing the ball away on an inbounds doesn't really have anything to do with physical play. Hali has made some questionable decisions getting caught in the air and going to the timeline to receive the ball.
 
So, spin into a legal defender and put your arms under his armpits, and that's a defensive foul, and a shooting foul at that? **** off.
