You mean save for when good supply is at its lowest point? After the scramble for players has had full time to inflate the market

Sounds like when you’d pay the most for what you’d get
Whoa only one 2 for 1 coupon per prospect we don't have 3 for 1 kind of money.

I think the coaching staff and WeWill did a heck of a job keeping our key players on the team while adding a couple of useful pieces from the portal. This market is crazy and there are a lot of really big numbers being thrown around for just average players, let alone stars.

Seems like we spent most of the available NIL already. There still are tons of players in the portal but we likely are limited to bench players who practice but don’t see the floor in game.
I would guess that we haven't, but we've spent enough money to retain people that we have to be very selective (which I'm fine with).

Ok, but calling it a day and rolling into the season with 11 scholarship players (4 of those being "freshmen") would be a wild decision

Assuming it's a money thing, spending money you don't have is also a wild decision.
I'm being facetious, but we should just build an expensive 7 man roster every year then. I imagine you'll every so often get further in the tournament than paying for 12-13 players. Now that's a bold move

It’s not really a decision if you’re broke

The decision was spending most of our money on the returning four players, particularly Jefferson

There is an outcome in which only retaining two or three, and adding another 2 to 3 transfers works out to be better

A lot of pressure on Milan and Jefferson to perform significantly above what could have been had a lower costs

I would assume we are not done adding. Just done adding players that might be down the bench guys that will pay like 1500 a month to come play on the team. Some kid from Illinois Chicago that wants a chance to play on a top tenish team and can add to our practice team and maybe get in the game and provide some minutes in a foul trouble/ Injury time. Kind of a Cade type.
