It's Sunday and I work M-F. Go ahead and spend all your extra cash on ISU athletics. Watching you people get your panties in a bunch over **** like this makes me feel better about my own life. I'd rather make pay my mortgage than a 19 year old power forward. Glad you're doing that well in life. I wouldn't give money to the NIL if I was a multi-millionaire. Id put it to actual problems facing society. You people losing sleep over this is why this society is so ****** up.
My friend, lighten up. What people choose to do with their money is up to them, especially people on a Cyclone message board. If you choose not to give to NIL, so be it, and that's your prerogative.

And society has many broader reasons why it's challenged than NIL and college athletics.

Don't mind the myopic ******* losers in this thread whos entire life revolves around ISU athletics. There are people here that would rather spend there last dollar on ISU than their family. These people exist too. The idea that you got criticized for saying you'd spend money on your own son before you would an ISU player says it all. Losers! That's why this country is the way it is.
Are you done now?

Edit: Guess not. You get up the the wrong side of bed today?

I'll tell you how it went.
1. Someone heard Jefferson might be leaving for several million annually.
2. The lunatics showed up and called him disloyal if he does.
3. The sane people showed up and told them how the real world works.
4. Then the lunatics came and told all of us that if we don't spend every dollar we make on ISU'd NIL fund we somehow are less of fans and need to get our priorities straight.
5. Sane people responded that our bills and family come first and even if we did have the money we'd probably spend it on matters that actually have an impact on society
6. Here we are.

And some guy spent 350$ on a baseball bat for his son and got called out on for some unknown reason

I understand all of this. You need to talk to the people complaining to me. I'm not the one complaining about people not spending money on ISU. I just made a few examples of what I'd rather spend my cash on. You are talking to the wrong person.

Understood. Sometimes I just jump into a thread, w/o reading the entirety. Consider my post to you as maybe just directed to whomever it applies to then. Peace.

Yes, and the so-called same people according to this poster, had to lecture everybody on why they won't give. Nobody cares why they won't give, but they feel obligated to tell everybody why they won't give. Some real deep thinking going on. It's all nuts, but people discussing why they don't give to a charity might be the biggest waste of time ever.
I dunno, your 8 posts in a row complaining about the same thing was a pretty big waste of time. If people don't want to contribute, they don't have to. And if people CAN'T contribute, you shouldn't be a judgmental prick about it.

I endorse and support that if people can't contribute that is ok. I have seen it on here for years with people telling people why they don't or shouldn't contribute. Create a thread for this topic.

Just look at what all that Duke money got them when it mattered most. Eternal national disasterous collapse. Superstar missed a bunny shot. Not sure this correlates with this thread ... but just felt good to type it.

I was a little sad when my kids stopped playing baseball but seeing this makes me (and my wallet) less sad!
My son is now 17. On one hand the bat thing and all the regulations by every age group is one hell of a racket. On the other hand, between bats, gloves, batting gloves, I pretty much had every birthday and Christmas gift without having to work.

The great part though in HS he and his teammates found a supposedly great bat made in 2017 that you can get for like $60 used.

So is JJ back? I’ve actually not been more interested in seeing a new team and it’s offense since Niang. JJ is such a unique player.

True (and glorious!) BUT they won 3 more games than ISU did.

Houston in the final with all Frittata's money.

One of you needs to make some apps and become a billionaire and donate 20M a year for all this.

Hmm, I wonder why?

What would cause people to defend themselves when they are constantly attacked, are told they are less of a fan, are told its all their fault when we don't get good players, are told they shouldn't have an opinion in the matter, and are baclsically treated like a 2nd class citizen because they either can't afford it and or choose not to for moral purpose?

This is all happening without even knowing how many tens of thousands of dollars they've already spent on following the sport in the past.

This isn't even directed at this forum either. I've seen it all over social media with pretty much every fan base in the country.
