Yep. Thundersnow for about an hour. Roads in town are now beginning to hold onto the snow instead of it melting when it hits.

Snow started here in Albert Lea at 9am. Some thunder. Calling for emergency only travel.

So much hail on e-29 between Ames and highway 65.

Not sure if this was caused by weather, but a big crash closed part of HW30 between Ames and Boone

Same in Cedar Rapids area...it was orange...then a very hard rain for 10 or so minutes...now it is lightening up...for the moment!

Along with some small hail pelting my roof

That driver in the median managed to miss the sign and keep his semi from rolling over. Reminds me of when we used to clap when someone dropped his tray in the lunch hall. Hope the weather improves and everyone fares better in their travels.
