As of today we’re a 2 seed. If we finish the season 7-2 or so then we stay a 2 seed.
We’re not a 2 seed right now. Based on resume and metrics we somewhere around #10 on th s-curve. I agree that a 7-2 finish would keep us about where we are, depending on individual results.

sometimes I wish I could jump through my phone to the other side and mushroom stamp people.
We came within an inch of beating auburn. I know this team is legit. They need Milan back so badly, his 12 ppg plus is the difference between us being pretty good to elite

I think they will be seeded 3-5 in the tourney.

I think the following L's will be:
@ Houston
@KSU
@ UCF

Slight Favorite:
Arizona
BYU

I would argue were not missing his 12 ppg so much as we are just him being on the floor. He's had a few stinkers this year, no doubt. But the fact he's on the floor, teams must account for him.

I'm going with a 4 now. This team is completely broken. All of a sudden our easy back half schedule looks much harder.

UCF on the road is likely a loss, and we'll lose to both BYU and Arizona unless something changes quickly.

The only hope is Milan comes back and we hit our peak and are an under-seeded team like UCONN. The problem is if we drop on the 4-5 line that means beating a 1 just to get to the Elite8 instead of the Final 4 like we expected.

Way up there
Weird people think this is ridiculous. 1 is gone winning out would be a 2. Winning the games we should is likely a 3. 6 seems drastic but 4 or 5 isn't crazy.

29-8 got us a two seed last year but we finished second in the league and won the tournament. Hard to see is finishing that high this year. A 3 seed seems about right if we can get things figured out.

I predict 2-7 the rest of the way. Win against TCU and Colorado, lose every other game
We won't be that bad. I'd say likely 3-6 or 4-5. The regular season is pretty much a lost cause at this point.

Even when Milan comes back I'm expecting a couple weeks to get everyone back into their normal roles and gaining confidence again.

Like I said in another thread..........Milan comes back and they get up off the mat after stubbing their toe like they did in 21-22 probably a 3 seed, no worse than a 4.

They finish like they did in 22-23......probably be lucky to get a 6.

At some point ISU fans will realize that winning the conference tournament has no impact on NCAA seeding...

If I was a bookie, I’d set our seed over under at 3.5. I’d probably take the over and have us as a 4 or 5 seed.
My opinion….It’s a long season. We just got through the toughest part of our entire schedule without one of our starters. We’d have to lose more than four games the rest of the way, and even then we might still have a shot at a three seed. Our resume is still good. Our schedule softens big time but still offers plenty of opportunity. Look at past season three seeds and their resumes and their records. We are not even close to going below that.

I think some are being emotional instead of logical and overreacting due to losing three in a row and having their 1 seed expectations hurt. So the sky is falling now and the team can’t be good anymore. The answer is in between. Team lost its juice after Arizona and it sucks but they’ll get it back.

Individual game results in conference tournament have impact, but it's same as any regular season game. I think some fans believe league tourn results are weighed more heavily and/or there's some kind of bonus seed-boost for winning the trophy.

It's definitely fun to win it, and of course it does no harm to a team's profile.
