It seemed like the gameplan was scoring at the rim. Many, many ineffective low post feeds in the first half. At least Curtis is keeping us in it with his play. Agree the defense is ineffective, you can't have that on the road.

They hit a lot of 3s, and apart from Jones, our offense was non-existent. Plenty of reasons to hope for a better 2nd half.
That's an interesting take for a team that has one of the best road wins of the season.
Seriously? Give it a rest. They just beat WV on the road. We're going to get a rock fight from every team. It's halftime and they shot out of their minds.
They went fairly soft defensively after it was apparent that this ref crew was by the far the most whistle happy crew so far this season. Everyone is trying to avoid foul trouble at this point. Half of the and-ones at the rim were questionable.
Every other conference game was a blood bath in the first half. This crew calls it like a middle school game.
Hopefully they swallow them a bit in the second half and let us pick the intensity up.

Curtis is great but we are becoming far to reliant on him on offense when we are on the road. Heise looks scared to touch the ball on offense and Gilbert has passed up some chances to attack the paint. Defense is a mess just letting them get to the rim

This team is completely lost without Milan. Lipsey can't do anything but dribble anymore. We're going to end up a 4 seed when this is all settled.
we need to attack instead of going sideways on offense, get going downhill and draw some fouls. Gilbert needs to be Gilbert, he has to get us going. ASU is blowing by us, just attacking the hoop or kick out and finding open guys. Our offense is so stagenet and bottled up.
Early fouls probably impacted that in some ways. Hopefully they can find a way to crank it up a notch as the 2nd half goes on.
Same here, but the same white haired ref was horrible bs KU. Not necessarily one sided, but just anticipates calls and looks like he’s just guessing out there. Really incompetent.
They also lost to UCF at home, who we just beat humiliatingly. College basketball isn’t the pros, you just don’t know what your team will look like on any given night unless you’re an Auburn-caliber team (and even then, they could have an off night).
