WBB: General All-NCAA Thread - Not Team Cyclones Stuff

Watching this game in the background. Only 4 points for Houston in the second quarter, boy are they bad.

Minor complaint that watching this game reminded me of: teams constantly yelling "D-UP! D-UP!" for like the whole game.
It is my STRONG opinion that any major conference team that has to use the "D-UP! D-UP!" strategy to try to win a game is doing so only because #1 they have no fans #2 their only chance of winning is if the other team is equally as poor #3 They're just trying to have a little fun as their season tanks.

Watching Texas Tech and Houston play each other is a kid to watching a middle school ball game. Both teams are sorely lacking in talent. Tech is fortunate that they have Shavers and Maupin or they would be right in the same boat as Houston.

Watching both her and Bristow. They have regressed from what they were doing as freshmen. People might complain about Fennelly's coach8ng, but those are two prime examples of players that were better when the6 were here. Donarski would be another example.
I was just thinking about that myself. Fennelly's sometimes stagnate offence and lack of defense is what drives me up a wall about his coaching, but Bill does seem to get more out of these players than others at the P6 level. That probably requires pressure these players don't respond well to, so they leave.

I am sort of bummed that the Gophers are again in a ranked game with only B10+ streaming. If Gophers are good next year I might have to buy the package again. And a couple for B10 games tonight got farmed out to Peacock in another conference/media money grab. Reminds me of my team MLB package that has so many games not include because they sold that high demand game to Amazon or Apple or whoever.

This is actually something that has occurred to me as well. Bristow looked fine, nothing special, plus its only been a year, so I take it with a grain of salt. Fritz has clearly gone backwards. Donarski has taken a step back too. Look at them vs Ryan and it's a pretty clear picture.

I guess Iowa is tired of losing. I think if they would have lost this game tonight they go into a dark place and miss the tourney .
They came out to prove a point

I did not realize TCU has no bench. Starters played 40, 40, 38, 38 and 27 minutes in the loss. Only 2 players off the bench, one played 15 minutes the other 2.

With the score 60-59 OSU shot two free throws - missed both. Wound up getting fouled again, shot two more free throws - missed both. TCU's Van Lith takes a 3 point shot with about 2 seconds left - misses - ball goes out of bounds after several hands touched it - game over. Wilder'n a rat killing.
