***2026 Minnesota Vikings***

As bad as Darnold sucked tonight, let us not put all the blame on him. KOC called a crap game. No offensive adjustments at all. And terrible play calling in the red zone.

This is playcalling. Way, way too many passes from a guy who can't throw on this particular day.

So we have a guy on a rookie deal, first round pick, and you want to tie up another 3 years, 120 million on this? I’m certainly glad you aren’t in the front office. Maybe you are actually, just with the jets or giants.
I’ve never said resign darnold ya dingus. I think McCarthy is a joke. You think he’s elway. He’ll probably never play for Minnesota.

What evidence do you have that backs that up
Fair question. I couldn’t say he is trash, but it’s also objectively true to say he is unproven.

Darnold might have lost himself a lot of money tonight. But they vastly exceeded expectations this year and Darnold played really well.

Interesting situation for the Vikings. You just went 14-3 (assuming this ends in a loss). You’re one game away from winning top seed in the NFC and I believe have most of your core coming back.

Do you really let Darnold go because you think McCarthy is going to take you to another level? That’s a lot to ask of a rookie QB coming off injury.

I’d get that if Darnold was at end of his career and this was a “win now” kind of year, but I don’t think that really applies.

If you have to pay him the money and years his agent will ask for, then yes, you let him go. Don’t get into another Cousins situation.

Holy ****, now you are really getting crazy! Daniel jones! Time for you to hit the hay brother.
I actually don't mind starting off next year with DJ to keep giving JJM more time to dev, since he missed this entire season. I think I'd rather do that than force him out before he's ready, or to sign Darnold long-term.

I trust KOC’s judgement of QBs more than some idiotic cyclonefanatic poster. If he chooses to roll with JJ next year, we’re going to be in good hands
Obviously I think kok will get it right. If he goes with McCarthy, my money says it’d be the wrong decision.
