Carter up now against allard (UNI)

gets taken down and gives up 3 count 0-6 ridden out the rest of the period.

Giving up 4 back points 30 seconds into the 2nd. 0-10. Reversal 2-10 big hole to climb out of needs to work on something on top.

Carter on top to start the 3rd gets RT under 1 min cuts him 2-11. Looking like we need a pin to get out of this one with a W with under a minute to go. Allard doing his best to keep carter from getting off anything and kill the time.

That's how it ends 2-11

Kane up now against Smith. In the last match Smith got a little temper on him against Parco.

Kane with the TD with 3 back 6-0.

2nd starts neutral Smith TD 6-3, reversal Kane 8-3. Something happened to give Kane 1 9-3 reversal smith 9-5. Smith gets two swipes 9-7 (Sure looked like a singlet pull to me)

Kane starts bottom Smith elects to go feet 10-7. Smith in on a shot we got some scrambling going on....luckily a stalemate. Kane seemed shaken up getting up. SMith shot stuffed by Kane. Kane getting lazy standing up. Kane hit with stalling. Another shot by Smith very deep Kane wraps. Time runs out

Kane wins 10-7

Rojas up now against Mason who is very oregon state which is my 2nd most hated team wonder if he will stall like what's his face did against david (yes I won't forget that).

Beautiful TD for Rojas cuts him 4-1.

escape Rojas in the 2nd 5-1

Going into the 3rd rojas cuts 5-2. TD Rojas 8-2.

Schon up as well against runyon. Runyon with a TD and escape Schon 3-1. Period ends.

Schon chooses down to start the 2nd. Feed kicked out. I see it's now 5-5. Escape Schon 6-5. Schon just got caught standing heavy footed Runyon with a blast double and scores the TD 6-8.

Schon on top gives up a reversal 6-10. He looks gassed and out of it. Schon taking all the time to get back to center. Escape 7-10 RT could be a factor with Runyon at 1:10.

Schon falls to Runyon 7-11

Carter and Herrera facing off each other now.

Start of the 3rd Herrera up 3-2 his on bottom. Gets the escape 4-2

Thats how it will end Herrera wins 4-2

That’s not true and his junior worlds are 125kg was not impressive. He got 10th. Tech’d Poland in his first match then lost 10-0 in the quarters (I’ll give him that it was Masoumi who’s a beast) and then got beat 13-0 by Turkey in repechage match that was to get to the Bronze medal match.

This is getting redundant at this point, but there are no real results at that weight to say he for certain would be a beast there. He might be, but that’s not some slam dunk thing that you keep making it out to be.

Thank you for the correction on worlds. He still won the weight in the USA regardless, along with other age level national tournaments. And none of them were as low as 197.

He didn’t, nor did I say he won a freestyle one. Freestyle results often correlate to folkstyke success. You know what almost never does? Sucking 30-40 lbs for 4 years of college wrestling.

And yeah…the guy who’s getting beat by the likes of UNI’s backup 197 pounder and a .500 guy from Bellarmine was consistently whipping Christian Carroll.

It has never been a secret that 197 was a reach and short term for Carroll. And it’s been a struggle. How that adds up to him needing to do it for a career, I don’t know.

Another TD after 3rd period starts on their feet 13-2 Rojas so far he cuts him making it 13-3 looking for another TD. He gets it with 50 sec left making it 16-3

Herrera didn’t lose to UNI’s back up 197. Just clearing the air on that.

11am. Looks like Kane Naak MF out. Hope it isnt anything too serious, but had a good showing for his first time at 49.
