Best part about win today it all but guarantees avoiding Ravens round 1. And only have to face one of Bills/Ravens.

Most likely winner of Steelers/Texans at home.

Can't wait to hear how the Chiefs aren't the best team in the AFC this week either.
I hope the haters keep hating, just adds fuel to the fire for this group. Back to back champs, best record in the NFL, have won like 22 of their last 23 games, and people are trying to write them off because they aren't piling up enough style points or something. Love it, keep it coming.

If this was college ball they'd be seeded like 4 or something. Maybe not after today but people think they're Indiana for some reason.

I don't get how people are trying to make the case that they have had an easy schedule. If the season ended now, in the AFC they have beat division winners Atlanta and Houston, and lost on the road to Buffalo. They are also 4-0 against AFC wildcard teams in Pittsburg, Denver, and San Diego. They also have wins over NFC division winners LA and Atlanta.

Anybody else in the NFL have more wins over playoff teams this year? I'm guessing not.

I love how Worthy is starting to be a big part of the offense just like Rice was doing around this time last year. Hollywood is getting some good usage already and Hopkins and JuJu making catches when it counts. Hunt and Perine adding good depth being Pacheco at RB and Gray has been used a lot more as a 2nd TE too. This may be the deepest and most well balanced offense they've had in awhile. They may not air it out for big plays like they once did but they can sure eat up the clock with long sustained drives.

Unfortunately there are issues on the edges of the OL at tackle, Thuney at least is fixing LT for now but Taylor once again today reminded us how bad he is at times at RT with multiple penalties today.

Setting up great with having Bills/Ravens in that 2/3 game. Playing only one of them and only have it be in the AFCC is huge.

Want to preface this all with Mahomes is great right? But, I went back and watched the highlights from the come from behind against Texans 2019 Divisional.

And had completely forgotten how dead the Chiefs were (24-0) until the Mecole Hardman kick return. Chiefs start with the ball nearly in the red zone to get their first score.

Ensuing drive, defense holds to a 3 and out. Then Texans special teams run a fake punt deep in their own territory and it's run down in open space by Dirty Dan Sorensen. Chiefs get it again nearly in red zone again. PI takes it to the 5 and Mahomes to Kelce gets their second score.

Texans fumble ensuing kickoff and Chiefs special teams return it to the 5. Mahomes to Kelce.

At this point (24-21), Texans are rattled, off rhythm on the road, and Arrowhead is rocking.

In an alternate scenario, where one or all of these crazy individual plays don't happen: are the Chiefs who they are today? How different is Deshaun Watson's legacy?

If they're Indiana, they're the Indiana that would have beaten Ohio State. All they do is win.

Crazy game.

The Texans got up 24-0, but got a ST TD on a blocked punt and a TD on 2 plays/6 yards after Hill fumbled a punt. Another TD was a 55 yard TD on 3rd down from a their own 45.

Those mistakes should cost a team, but then Houston similarly unraveled

are the Chiefs who they are today?- Yes because they still have Mahomes and Reid

How different is Deshaun Watson's legacy?- Its the same because he liked "massages" then too.

Also, i feel like this is worth mentioning, but Derrick Henry would have ran all over that Texans team. The legacy that has suffered the most because of Mahomes and Co is Kyle Shanahan's, IMO

Houston has supposedly been on the verge of being great for about 15 years now. They aren't as good of an organization top to bottom as Baltimore or KC.

Yep yep. Gotta still go out and win the games, but having Bills/Ravens as the 2/3 lines up nicely.

To me, the Broncos might be the next scariest team, so happy to miss them also. I don't think they can get up to the five seed, even if KC lays down next week.

It's possible. Pitt looks broken right now, so I could see them losing next week as well and falling to #7.

I think Denver can matchup pretty well against Buffalo. Strong defense for Denver and a middling defense for the rookie QB to play against. Denver wins and they come to Arrowhead. Chargers could be a tough matchup for Buffalo too, but I not sure if LA's offense would keep up.

Crazy that 3 of the top 4 scoring defenses are in the AFC west.

Not sure the Denver is good enough to go into Buffalo and beat the Bills in a winner take all playoff game. Allen is playing at a very high level right now. Glad that if we have to face them, it will be in Arrowhead this season.

Maybe. They're one of the best teams at getting after the QB. If they can force Josh Allen back into some old bad habits, they have a shot. NE seemed to be able to do that for much of the game,. I'm curious to see how Denver handles Cincy this weekend. Burrow might have been on his way to the MVP had his defense not been completely awful all season.

Gotta give Tomlin a lot of credit. Russ is flat out terrible and Tomlin has them in the playoffs.
