The fake orgasm noises are almost enough to make me quit the pod. Just painful ****, Not to mention not something I need my kids hearing as I'm driving.
Does IE still have a pod of JorBo f-bombs?

Probably super popular with middle school lunch room crowd

Rewatch thoughts:

1. We didn’t play nearly as poorly, or we were t as *outplayed* as it seemed in real time. Rotations were abysmal and we let their guards cook us 1:1, and they shot unconscious, but there was almost always a timely bucket to stop the bleeding from getting completely out of control.

2.Milan while not doing much compared to avg, contributed his buckets at helpful times in the first half.

3. Brandt C has monster big boy minutes in his limited time. Great traps that led to turnovers and block outs. He got some unfavorable whistles going against dirtball Owen Freeman, but liked his time on review.

4. Tamin’s tip outs. Didn’t count but he must’ve had 3-5 rebound tip outs that helped us close out uofi possessions. Doesn’t show up on stats, but amazing plays.

5. 2 missed T’s. And other misses. Freeman did an air humping on the rim. Much less has been called at home against ISU that I can remember. And of course the ball slam. More than one over the back then quick whistle on ISU after they let Iowa play through. Really quick to call the fouls on the *floor* when Gilbert was driving.

Really let them play against our bigs down low and overall on our drives which felt atypical.

6. How did they call the ball going out of bounds on review out on ISU? Seemed clear Gilbert was slapped on the arm and the swiping motion also was last to touch the ball.

7. Jefferson strong hands grabbing boards, but can be next level if he hits those bunny put backs. He straight SNATCHED a few rebounds in traffic and just willed it. Same with the late game fouls when Harding went for the steal. Didn’t even bump it loose. If when he finds his touch around the rim in traffic that’s a 20 pt win
I feel like a lot of people missed the end of the 1st half. We played pretty well on offense, but missed some open threes. We were only down 7. We finished stronger in both halves than they did, and that's why we won.

Fales on Murph and Andy was infected with Hassel brain on Friday's epsiode. Hassel was just doing a bit on the "lucky" 3s stuff. But Fales actually said he couldn't believe there weren't more ISU fans in the stands with the lack of a sellout. As if the empty arena in IC was a reflection of our fans and not theirs. Talk about mental gymnastics.
I heard that too. Fales is incredibly lame for trying to copy that bit of trolling. But, then, we all knew that already.

Not exactly sure.
Agreed. I dont mind the trolling at all and you can usually tell when it’s coming.

I just can’t stand the voices and orgasms. Even when he is talking seriously he has to incorporate a lisp or a voice or something every 5 min. Everyone has different sense of humors and I just don’t find it funny at all and now after 2 years CW and Van Winkle have started to tag along and do it too. I feel like I am back at a lunch table in 8th grade. The show does great so I am sure some people laugh at it but it’s nails on chalkboard for me. It was a don’t miss show for me but now it’s an occasional listen.
I quit when he kept doing the whining baby stuff anytime he talked about Blum. More like fingers in the chalkboard and he was doing it a decent amount.

That's my favorite part of Hassel. He's a weird guy, but his sense of humor is kinda up my alley. He jsut happens to be an insufferable tavern hok 80% of the time.

He's resorting to trolling because he can't be condescending when we beat Iowa. So he's doing anything but giving credit to Iowa State. You can hear him turn troll mode on and off. But just wait until the next time Iowa beats Iowa State. It will be a nauseating arrogrance that is truly him.

If you don't like it, just don't tune in to the podcast. That's what I do. I also skip any that seem to think they should swear a lot, or talk about gambling/NIL frequently.

I like Hassel and I think him and Chris are good together. I find Hassel funny as well. His Stivers Ford commercial spoof was hilarious.

There’s just a certain type of person that finds this kind of stuff funny. I am not one of them. I don’t drink beer at any establishment with “draught house” in the name. I don’t watch prime time tv shows on network tv stations, I don’t live in Altoona and say “I live in Des Moines” when asked, I don’t like Cyclone Larry, I don’t wear work boots and jeans to my white collar/non manual-labor job, I don’t have a cowboy hat that I wear one time per year for the state fair…you know the guy.

I believe that on review, they learned the ball never went out of bounds. They can't call a foul, so inadvertent whistle, ball back to Iowa.

Aside from the cyclone Larry bit you mostly describe middle upper class basic white guy hawk fans

I love Chris & Chris because of Hassel.

The unexpected vulgarity cracks me up every time.

I live in eastern Iowa, so I like the brief Iowa takes.

And honestly, other than Williams & Blum, none of the other CF podcasts do it for me at all. And even then, sometimes I like the Hawk chatter more than I do the Big 12 analysis.

They called it off Iowa State and Iowa's ball. Nothing to overturn it. The ball did hit the line.
