***2026 Minnesota Vikings***

Darnold has been extremely clutch the last couple of weeks. Tough first 3 quarters but man they turned it on at the end. Greenard has been incredible in clutch time too

Falcons just walk the entire length of the field like nothing. Vikings are a lot like the cyclones. 2-3 really good downs on defense and the take a play off.

Why do the Vikings always do this? Can they just win an easy game once in a while?

11-2. Darnold with 350 passing, 5 tds. Remaining schedule looks good. Still think lions win the division, but they're dealing with injuries. Just keep winning
With Darnold’s string of record setting games here of late, there’s a lot of talking heads that are now saying the answer for the Vikings is to slap the franchise tag on him for next year. But at $40 million/yr, will the Vikes do it?

Today is good evidence of why the Vikings didn’t pay Kirk big money again
+ why they shouldn't give a huge deal to Darnold in the off-season. Sign an upside level QB like Daniel Jones or others who want to push JJ for the starting job, maybe allowing for flexibility coming off surgery.

The 2025 off-season cap space has the potential for KAM to REALLY cook! For all of his faults in the draft, the front office has been REALLY good at free agency, both undrafted rookies and vets.

The $35-40M in salary cap different next year between JJ And Darnold is exactly why we should stick with JJ. Not much draft capital, have to build the roster through FA with the cap space

They can franchise tag Darnold. KOC though has said he won’t stand in the way if Darnold can go get paid.
