***OFFICIAL CFP Rankings Show Watch Thread***

Ways to get triggered on a Tuesday lol. Listening to these narratives is so predictable and tired. It’s frustrating watching all the pieces play out for a system you know is biased.

If SMU gets beat in the ACC championship there's no way they get in over Alabama. They want it to be an SEC Big 10 invite.

Why I watch this every week I don’t know. But let’s win Saturday and I love a matchup with Penn State, and us all figuring out how the hell we get to State College.

They have totally set it up so that even if Boise St. loses they will be ranked ahead of the Big XII winner and there is zero justification for it.

that literally can't happen... if Boise St loses they're eliminated because they're the G6 conference champion. however, they could also easily be positioning UNLV to jump the Big 12 champ in the event that they do upset Boise St.

Yeah, my bad.

Honestly, Penn state in the first round wouldn’t be the worst of matchups. We can beat James Franklin and his can’t win a big game ass.

it won't be Penn St... not now that they're in the Big 10 championship game. Win that and they get first round bye and probably #2 seed; lose that and they fall probably to #6... behind Notre Dame, who'll be the #5.

The narrative of “Alabama has more top 25 wins!” while just completely ignoring the fact they lost to Vanderbilt and Oklahoma is what’s really infuriating. It’s like I said earlier - the anti-poll-champion playoff bros harped for years about “you gotta find the real champion on the field!” are the same people now saying “you can’t go by just wins and losses, the eye test and our feelings about who’s best are most important!”

How in the world would UNLV jump the Big 12 Champ? ISU and ASU are both ranked higher and the winner would each have another ranked win.

If Boise loses to UNLV, the Big 12 is getting the 4th bye, no debate. I believe the Big 12 Champ should get the 4th seed regardless but for whatever reason the committee is valuing the MWC competition higher than Big 12..

Take off the tinfoil hats, guys. If Boise St.loses, there's no way UNLV will be ranked ahead of the Big 12 champ. Also, B12 champ will jump USC, Ole Miss, & Miami, since none are playing Saturday.

I watched a little Paul Finebaum today... yeah that's all anyone was talking about, including him.

Yep, it’s also why I don’t think they let Arizona state jump too high. And they nestled Clemson right behind Iowa State so if #8 SMU loses they can justify Clemson jumping Iowa State and or Arizona State because it’s a “better win” protecting the ACCs first round bye.
