Non-CFP Bowl Game Hope?

Wondering what peoples' thoughts are for a bowl game if we don't win the Big 12 and make the CFP.

I feel like things are changing on this front, so I am very curious.

I'm hoping for the Alamo Bowl.

Interesting twist with the old PAC teams. Looks like those contracts end at the end of 2025. Hopefully, that means new options next season.

Frankly, there should be conference tie-ins anymore at all. Make it a free for all and mix it up.

Don't want to be a downer, but who cares. Any bowl games outside the playoffs are like the NIT in basketball.

Yeah I'd be in favor of just trying to find the best match ups.

Of course it won't matter with so many transfers/draft sit outs.

Everything about the Alamobowl is great except a lot of the Riverwalk establishments close at like 10pm. That really suprised me when we played Wazzu.
That still would be my preference.

We are going to most likely skip and do the ASU/Arizona weekend in Jan for bball. Plane tickets are purchased and were cheap.

I think Alamo is pretty great. But took my kids to it so I’m probably more nostalgic than anything. Road trip there sucked with a constant downpour from KC to Austin and tornado warnings around Waco.

Any Bowl against any team is okay with me, as long as Iowa State wins.
