The mounting injuries seem like they have finally caught up with our D. And our offense remains inconsistent. Given that, seems hard to pick us to win by more than a TD against any conference foe.
Or to pick against us. Both of those issues are more likely to lead to losses than wins. The defense would be bolstered greatly IF the offense would play well consistently. Unfortunately they have yet to do that this season.
I’m 5-1 in these polls. I’m taking ISU -7.5. I think this is a get right game for Iowa State and they win 34-17.
Shouldn't be injury related, that's already baked in to the opening line unless it's someone who hadn't been previously injured.
I thought it was a really good sign for ISU that Vegas had the spread at -9 on Sunday even coming off 2 losses. Getting bet up to 10 was a better sign. The line falling almost 3 points is a bit concerning because that usually means sharp money has come in on that side.
As down as I am on all the things going wrong lately... I absolutely could see this as a "get right" game
Gonna find out what this team really is with this game. Best start in school history, two bad Ls, how do they respond. I think we win, but I don't think we cover.
If they eliminate most of the chunk plays they got hit with recently they will cover.
