Don't be surprised if you guys move the ball well the first couple of drives. Maybe even score. Usually this happens and then Heacock puts the clamps down.
This. They probably will score first. But that’s always how it goes. They won’t score much if at all in the second half unless it’s a blowout.

Just the word Arkansas should answer your question. More concerned with their biting technique. With the teeth they have it’s a concern.
Typical Arkansas response.
So you call dat dair thing a toothbrush?
Can in use it on all three or do I need to buy more?

In Iowa, and many other states, we call them “teeth brushes”! In Arkansas, “toothbrush” is just fine.

I’m not sure about cold but he always drove his car from Towers to class. Always offered a ride to anyone female and breathing. I always declined but wondered where he parked when he got there. Maybe he had a do not ticket nod from campus security. One of my brothers had to pay his massive parking ticket fines before they would send him his diploma.
He was a jerk a lot of the time.

It wasn’t easy living in Towers with the football team. There was a lot of vandalism. I always worried about elevators if there were more than two linemen. It took forever to replace the water fountain they ripped off the wall. And the male/female ratio was pretty skewed

I totally get it from the outside looking in. I'll OJ this and say "if we do, here's how we did it"

C Jacob Bayer and T Makilan Thomas - Bayer finally played a bit last week (after recovering from ACL surgery in just 5 months, insane), but Thomas has been out all season. They are both All-Conference, and we had to move other guys around to try and fill gaps. It's been a mess. This is the first time the OL will be whole. We played 2 freshman OL against Michigan.

I can't overstate how much this has impacted us. We haven't been able to run the ball well at all, and that's made everything a grind.

Our QB Raynor is capable of playing at a very high level and I think he will benefit from having them back together. Here's a quick one on Raynor:

Couple that with some really talented WRs, I think it's possible our offense clicks Saturday.

I also fully expect Heacock to have a great game plan and make adjustments well.
The Red Wolves certainly look capable of putting together some drives and getting points. However, it’s hard to envision how they keep Iowa State under 40 points. The Red Wolves glaring weakness is their run defense, giving up 6.4 yards per attempt. Although Iowa State‘s struggles with rushing the ball at times, they should find some nice lanes on Saturday. If the Red Wolves start bringing up defenders to stop the run, Iowa State’s receivers will make them pay dearly.

My prediction is ISU - 45; Arkansas State 17

I forgot about Redwolf! I had a red wolf sing hanging in my dorm room. Someone stole it. I’m going to go find that sign because I remember looking it up several years ago and being pissed because it sold for a lot of money.
This was the sign I had. Which ever cyclone from the late 90s that stole this, please Venmo $100

In fairness to the football team, this also describes late 90’s/early ‘00’s Towers pretty accurately. And, really, the other Towers-style dorms I’ve been in at other schools. Something about the combination of college students, substances, and that sweet, cozy Eastern Bloc architecture.
