No surprise that a majority of fans passionate enough to spend time posting on a message board are also optimistic that their team can find a way to win. I would guess that their players think they can find a way to win the game too.

This fan posting on a team message board is optimistic that we will crush these hopes of the Arkansas State fans, players, and coaches though. :)

Maybe with our pregame Cyclone warning and thunderstorms on the horizon, they'll all go back to Arkansas:p

I can understand the drive to go after our LBs and DL, but going after our secondary seems like a stretch. I welcome that strategy.

They must not have watched the Iowa game. Iowa didn't beat us over the air (they lost over the air, actually). They mostly beat us downfield with off-tackle and stretch running.
It's not like we usually tear it up in September...

The State of Hockey
Whatever they are drinking, I'll try some on Saturday!
If i remember correctly Arkansas state is located in a dry country of Arkansas so they don't even have liquor stores there.

Saying all that unrelated, I could understand a fanbase feeling good about believing they can move the ball against the linebackers but to act like attacking our strength on the defense the secondary is real strategy is hilarious.

After taking the time to go on " THE DEN" ( Arkansas State's message boards) I have learned that the majority of the Red Wolves fans are very optimistic. They believe if they can spread us out and widen the field they can expose our secondary. They also are in hopes of getting back an experienced offensive lineman ( Makllan) to bolster their young offensive line . They think they will be able to establish a running game based on Iowa and North Dakota's running production. They have little respect for Coach Heacock's defense and feel they have a good chance.
That being said... what do you see are IOWA STATE's keys to victory?
Showing up at 1P.M. ;)

Don't know if this is accurate, but someone on their message board posted that our record for coming out of a bye week is 7-12 since 2015. Ouch.

Also, seems like we're getting some respect from Vegas as they've made us a 21.5 point favorite the week after Arkansas State lost by only 11 to Michigan.
