Iowa State Vs UCF on Oct 19 if both teams are undefeated will be ranked matchup and Fox doesn’t have much of anything to compete so will likely be big noon on fox
Fans are always overreacting after a win or loss, but thank goodness our coaches and players are not.
Our first conference game is on the road against a Houston team that just took Oklahoma down to the wire. Certainly hope this doesn't happen, but we could easily be 0-1 after the first week of conference play.

I don't see a home game this year that will be big enough for Gameday to come to Ames. I could see the road game at Utah as a possibility if ISU is in the mix to make the Big 12 title game still.
I've said it here many times in the past, I hope we get Gameday for some other game than the CyHawk as even though we are the host school doesn't feel like we get as much of the attention having to share it with an in-state rival. And the last having a huge Hawk fan like Kutcher as the guest picker was just a kick in the nuts too. That would be like bringing in a big Michigan celeb to pick the game when they are at Ohio State.

K-state would be the only possibility due to the rivalry and if both teams would happen to be top 10 or close imo.
There's a less than zero chance Farmageddon ever gets GameDay or Big Noon Kickoff on rivalry weekend. Wey too many other matchups with huge brands playing their most anticipated games of the year. Even if both teams were in the top 10, they wouldn't get selected over UT-TAMU, The Game, USC-ND, etc.
Let's take a big step back. We showed great resilience in the Iowa game, but don't look to far ahead. Let's take it one game at a time. I remember very clearly Purdys senior season when we started in the top 10 and that didn't turn out well for us.

They were just in Michigan even though that was on Fox. Game day doesn't just go to ESPN games.
Also had a SEC component... and ESPN loves to tout the SEC. I meant to say a Big10 conference game.
Last year GameDay was at The Game between Ohio State and Michigan and Penn State vs Ohio State. They also went to Utah vs Oregon.
