On KGYM? I think it must just be those idiots.

KGYM is goofy … they do have the Cyclone sports radio contract, but since they’re in CR they have their noses firmly in the hind end of the Hawkeyes, so they have their own Hawkeye pregame and postgame shows … even though they contractually cant carry the actual Hawkeye games.

I’m sure this must have to do with that, being the CyHawk game - they try to have their Hawkeye pre- and post-game content while carrying John Walters for the game itself.

The two things I loved today about how the game went.

1. The defense and the LBs in particular for stepping up amidst all of the injuries. They really improved as the game went on. Some mistakes late still against the Iowa rushing attack, but these young LBs will learn from those.

2. The offense from every facet was just horrendous in the first half. The fact they (the coaches included) adjusted the way they did was insane.

It's what my high school coach always taught us to do and it worked for us every time. I think it's probably pretty close probability wise but I think I'd rather squib it and let the clock start rolling. Plus there's a high chance it gets muffed.
