Conner Stalions Documentary

Its an interesting watch. Its very pro Michigan, and appears to claim they were all completely innocent.

Not sure it if is accurate or total biased take.

The "Untold" docs about Manziel and the Gators were straight-up PR pieces defending their subjects.

This one a little less so, but still presented as everybody else's fault -- or at least, Ohio State's fault. And I had also forgotten how absolutely insufferable Rich Eisen was during this whole thing.

Dude told the barstool guy that was him on the sidelines at Central Michigan, tells Netflix it wasn't, and the NCAA that he can't recall. Schmuck
That was one of the things that was against the letter of the rule so obviously he lies about it.

Is it just me or are Michigan fans kind of weird like TAMU?
It’s not every fan, but the concept of a “Michigan Man” has shown me some of their more arrogant, obsessive fans who just take it too far.

Like any school, they have a weird Little Brother back and forth thing with their in state rival, MSU. They also had a lot of wins last century. I think all Blue Bloods have wacko fans.

Some co-workers and I were discussing this yesterday. We’ve noticed over time that Netflix appears to consistently portray the parties involved in a positive light in their Untold series.

Guessing that’s in order to gain access to the schools/teams and actually get individuals to sit down for interviews.

It’s 100% PR controlled whereas 30 for 30 and other series seem to present a more balanced take on events.

Swamp Kings comes to mind here.

Exactly this. All documentary's have a little spin added to them, but these "Untold" stories don't even tried to hide their angle.

The Urban Meyer one was probably the most egregious. They try to portray him as a victim who's just been in the wrong place and the wrong time with all the shady people he's associated with.

That being said, they're interesting enough that I'll still watch.

Who cares about the bias of Untold. I want to know who is our sign stealer.

Ex brother in law and his whole family graduated from Michigan. The Michigan Man thing is weird as F. The fans I met through them were at a whole level of arrogance and delusion I’ve never seen anywhere else. They truly couldn’t comprehend why anyone would be a fan of another team. They also felt that visiting fans saved for years to experience the big house and that it was the highlight of their football fandom. They truly believed fans of other teams were below them both financially and in football knowledge. The Big House is a pretty boring place, sound escapes straight up and just a meh environment overall.

Because of my interactions through them and my one visit to the Big House, Michigan fans are probably the group I despise the most. A group truly void of outside perspective.

WE missed the boat on that. They can do electronic now. So no sideline signs anymore. I was actually suprised that there is a whole underground group of sign stealers. That was pretty crazy. Like a deep web of these dudes.
