The arm strength you need for rings and pommel horse is insane.
I think of the arms but also the core for all of that body control.

Oh they are all over twitter about it
The amount of air SB gets on the floor is absolutely insane.USA Women Gymnastics gets it done and wins the Gold.
The women’s gymnastics final kinda stole the thunder from an absolutely miraculous finish by the US women in the rugby 7s bronze medal match. Australia broke a 7-7 tie by scoring with less than 90 seconds left; then, backed up against their own goal line, the American women got a breakaway full-length-of-the-field run as time expired to tie, then made the kick to win the bronze.
I love the women’s rugby. Thought I was only one watching it and not gymnastics. Maybe it’s just I am not used to that much contact in women’s sports. They let a lot more contact go in women’s basketball too, certainly more than college and I think more than WNBA also. The women’s gymnastics final kinda stole the thunder from an absolutely miraculous finish by the US women in the rugby 7s bronze medal match. I had gymnastics on, but my wife left for an appointment and said she’d want to start from that point when she got home. I looked around at what else was on and really just lucked into the last five minutes or so.I love the women’s rugby. Thought I was only one watching it and not gymnastics. Meh, you can pull up stuff on Peacock any time and pretty much assured they will show the gymnastics again in Prime Time if you don’t have Peacock. That rugby was thrilling and unexpected.I had gymnastics on, but my wife left for an appointment and said she’d want to start from that point when she got home. 7s is such an awesome version of this sport. Glad they added it a couple of Olympics ago.The women’s gymnastics final kinda stole the thunder from an absolutely miraculous finish by the US women in the rugby 7s bronze medal match. They will show women's gymnastics in prime time. I was tooling around the dial on Sunday night and found out my t.v. provider has the Paris Extra channels. On these two channels you get to watch the secondary sports that your local NBC affiliate doesn't air. I've seen surfing, table tennis, judo, boxing, field hockey, badminton and team handball. When wrestling starts most of it will air on those two channels.Meh, you can pull up stuff on Peacock any time and pretty much assured they will show the gymnastics again in Prime Time if you don’t have Peacock. It’s been tiring for me since Shawn Johnson. Those of us in central Iowa know the common denominator there.Certainly have a lot of respect for the USA gymnasts, great to see them win gold as they are supremely talented and deserving.
That being said, the hype machine is making following them not as much fun. Parents are now starring in commercials for big Pharma?? That weird show where they announced the team.
Not hating on them, go get yours while you can, but it does make me less interested if I'm being honest.
Its giving Caitlin Clark vibes.
That was a big security failure. The Puerto Rican Secret Service code name for George Conditt IV is "Isaiah Pineiro." George is a PR national treasure now.I must be getting old as I don't remember Isaiah Pineiro on the team . . . . .
