Not if they’re over 3.4 oz. Checked bags would just be foolish. There are better formulations for, uh, transport.
Local place was out of everything but 5's here in Ankeny also. They put things on sale and it sold out fast.
Stupid law. Who sets serving size? The place here sells 25mg 12oz cans and the serving size says 1/4 can. You would think the places in Iowa could do the same.
Also, the 4mg limit on a serving! That was set to try to end the gummy business. The lowest gummies I’ve seen are 5mg. A manufacturer would need to specially make 4mg gummies just for Iowa. Doubt that will happen

Mindy's Artisanal Edibles markets 2mg gummies in IL. Not hemp-based, but 2 and 2.5mg does are not uncommon. But this is Iowa, and this guy worries a lot about rampant reefer madness.
He fits the description of someone worried about THC gummies but goes home and drinks a fifth of vodka each night.
Climbing Kites did post yesterday on Social that they're re-formulating all their OG flavors to be 4mg per can - should be available in a few weeks. So at least they're adapting and (hopefully) going to keep kicking ass.
As much as I hate the law, I'm really excited for 4MG Pineapple and Prickly Pear. Those are great flavors, but 5 is absolutely enough for me in a sitting. I guess I'll probably find out what the berry tastes like too.

The most recent gummies I bought specifically say "TSA Compliant" on the package. I feel like anyone could put that on a package so not sure if it's fully legit, but they seem to think you can fly with them.

I still have a couple left, I'd be willing to trade one for something if you're in the DSM area. Found them at the liquor store just off 22nd & University in West DSM before our legislators saved us from ourselves.
It appears that anything previously (before 7/1/24) legal in Iowa is perfectly fine with TSA. So the "TSA Compliant" sticker on a recent pack of Sky High gummies is absolutely legit.
HOWEVER, the 100 ml limit still applies to drinks.

It’s pretty much a free for all except for flower lol. Don’t bring flower. I don’t even think about it anymore. Pens gummies other edibles.
