So... does that mean it's a big bad tornado, or so weak/weakening that it isn't moving over land?

A stationary tornado out over a field doesn't seem like a big deal, but a stationary one in the middle of a town sounda even more destructive than one that blows through it in 30 seconds and is gone.
It was a large tornado indicated by radar/debris ball.

Why did you stay upstairs? To hold the roof on?

Kids were eating dinner but more importantly it was broad rotation and 1st set was just a bit north and the big one that later dropped the Marshall tornado was just a bit south. The clouds and wind here never got sus.

I've milked cows through a lot of tornado warnings my threshold is probably higher than it should be lol

Also let the record show I was watching velocity on radar and showed spouse uuuuhhhhh I think this is concerning rotation a good 3 minutes before the alert hit our phone. We were only severe warned to that point. It was still a good 8-10 miles west yet then

The rain and water levels are dumb and so is the resurgence of gnats.

If I take one step into grass I'm basically fresh meat.
