Iowa State Uniform Discussions (update: new basketball unis)

This is what I wish ours looked like, better in every way pretty much. Better shoulder stripes, they have pant stripes, and no words on the front.
And why I'm sad we're losing the uniqueness from our uniforms. Now Baylor's look like ours and all the other "old school" unis that teams are doing now.
Those are as generic as can be. We at least get the Iowa State across the chest and Trice stripes on ours. Baylor looks like knock off Green Bay.

The 'Iowa State' across the chest looks very 2013 and although the whole jersey is a throw back that era hasn't come back into fashion yet. Their stripes are better than ours, there is some variation in size and they got em on the pants. Our shoulder stripes look awkward imo. And I don't count the twice logo since I believe we add that ourselves not Nike.

SIAP but yet another team simply changing out the decals and face masks to honor past eras.

Those are actually three fans standing in the background. They were standing because they wanted to be able to make a quick getaway in case Walden tried to slap a helmet on them and make them run up the middle.

Iowa State with a long 3rd and 12.

Guggenheim up the middle for 2.

That brings out the punt team....

Agree 100%. Baylor's are instantly a better version of ours. Disappointing.

Did it really save us that much freaking money to omit stripes on the pants? JFC. And yes, the "Iowa State" across the chest looks out of place and the Jack Trice patch is something we sew on ourselves; Nike gets no credit for it.
