Swept by the Yankees and only scored one run the entire series. The Twins are a good team, but they aren’t even competitive with the best teams such as the Dodgers, Orioles, and Yankees.

Sure, we would have liked to have seen the Twins put out a better showing this series, but they were going against the #1 payroll in baseball. $290 million vs $116 million isn’t a fair fight, but that’s what happens in today’s payroll structure.
And yes, I know, the Twins owners could afford more, but they’ll always have a hard time competing with the top five with the current agreement.

Sounds like Duran has been working on his mechanics to increase his velo. They recently found on video that his arm motion has been too long.

What a funky season.
Started of 7-13
Then went 17-3 (with a 12 game winning streak).
Then a 7 game losing streak
Now winning 6 out of 7.

I can't imagine there has been another roller coaster quite like this.
