This is even worse. At least that team had a good first couple rounds set up.
So, if I get this right, we are the lowest ranked #2 seed, even though we were 2nd in the best conference in the country and won our conference tournament going away, beating the #1 ranked team to do it.
Pollard being on the committee probably hurts us honestly. No one from the big 12 to advocate for us.
We've been underseeded the last couple years.
Not the least bit scared of South Dakota St, Wazzu or Drake. We'll smash all of them. Who says BYU will even get to the Sweet 16?

For somebody who knows such things...since we're a #2 seed that's placed in a bracket with the #1 overall seed does that mean we're listed as the actual 8th team on the list? Hope that makes sense. But yeah that seed stinks. And now seeing Houston as a #1 and we beat them twice stinks even more.
I don’t understand how we can’t be number 5 overall. We are number 7 in the last poll then took Baylor and Houston to the woodshed. The committee sucks.
I guess I don’t see what the big deal is? I think this is a cake walk to the sweet 16. Hope for Illinois to beat BYU and an elite 8 should be very doable.

Feels like Wash St was a message/story-line thing as well. Big bad Big XII destroys PAC 12 and leaves Wash and Oreg St twisting-revenge type narrative.

The Big Ten and SEC control every CONFERENCE schedule and have ignored basketball in their conference building turning big 12 into a virtual super conference.

I caught the comments after the Illinois game, talking about a player as an elite defender. They rank 120th ish net as far as defense. (Wiscy was in the 180s hence the 93-87 score). What a joke.
