I can't imagine trying to keep a bunch of college guys' egos in check before a game after this ranking came out. Thankfully TJ is at the helm and demands the same effort for each game.

Best way to do that is play a road game against a higher ranked team. This could be a problem if we were plying a lessor opponent tonight. No way u can have a huge ego playing Houston. They are legit

As others above, would worry more about this ranking going to their head if it were a home game or a road game against bottom tier team. I think one or two possessions against Houston will cure any ego problems

Ah, forgot we were ranked so high to start. 2000 and 2001 were both ones where we started out ranked low/unranked and fought our way up. Probably why they stand out so much (in addition to the obvious reason of titles)

Looking up Hoiberg's good teams, the Kane/Ejim team peaked at #8, last team at #9

Man my jaw about hit the floor when that guy told Miller and Condon that the B1G is far and away the premier basketball conference and that it has been for some time. I can't believe Miller didn't chime in on that one...
