Wouldn't UConn be an Elite Eight, Final Four, or National Title game?
Bring them right on.

Make it happen. I was so close in 05 with Illinois, until the refs took the game away. Well it started at the tip. ******* Ole Roy.

I’d hate to face Iowa State, out of the Big 12. Their defense could give us fits

Houston and Iowa State are obvious ones given their defenses. But Houston is likely to be a #1 seed and Iowa State is in the #2/#3 range right now, so they're obvious big baddies in the bracket.

UCF is going to be dangerous if they make it in with their defense, though...

Shades of the Brockington team -- can't score but you aren't scoring on them. In a game like that with a team that isn't used to the Big 12 pressure style, they might be able to slay some dragons.

They've got a lot of work to do to make the tournament, though.

I still think UConn, Purdue and Houston are a step above anyone else in the country. Not scared of Houston on a neutral floor.

I just want to stay off the dreaded 5/12 line. Playing the likes of a Drake or Indiana State terrifies me.

I want to avoid bama although that matchup would be really interesting.

Purdue if it’s only a regular season resume question.

Are they even in the top 25 if it’s teams you expect to make second weekend? Maybe if their entire quarter of the bracket gets only the worst teams in the field.

Not exactly sure.
Let’s just ask to play a one seed right away. All or nothing. If we win, we have a better path to the final four. If we lose, we don’t get our hopes too high.

Creighton is 9th in the country in 3PT attempt rate. They can't get placed in Omaha though.

Nebraska is 32nd in the country in3PT attempt rate and 46th in 3PT%.
Iowa State won't see Nebby if they play in Omaha. Seeds 1-4 can't be dealt a disadvantage.

Avoid:

Texas A&M. Taylor at guard is electric if he is on. They are a really experienced team. Would hate to see them in a second round #2/#7 type scenario. Dark horse Final 4 team for me.

Kentucky: Tons of talent. Have seen them struggle all year only to turn it on come March.

Clemson. Impressed every time I see them play.

Any Big 12 team early who has seen our defense before.

Play:

Dayton. Extremely overrated.

Wisconsin. Our pressure defense would eat them alive.

Marquette. Have not been overly impressed. Lost their PG earlier in year to injury.

Purdue. Give me Purdue as the #1 seed in our bracket. They always tend to get knocked off early. With our pressure defense dont think Edey would ever get comfortable.
I would love to play Kentucky. Totally undisciplined and don't play defense.
Marquette didn't lose their PG.

UCONN. They are a machine. An untested machine, but a machine nonetheless.
