Swift fan and ISU alum...going to at least partially watch for the first time in forever. Kinda fun. Super good Cetaphil commercial coming.

5 yr old son is a BIG Swift fan and also an ISU fan. Gave him a Sophie's choice and told him it's Taylor Swift's boyfriend vs an ISU QB, who do you cheer for? He said the 49ers!

Then 2 minutes later he told husband he's rooting for the Chiefs :p

What I really want is a good fun close game.

What I don’t want is Purdy to throw a bunch of interceptions. The haters would just be so brutal. Don’t need that.

Just shake it off, shake it off
Very late to this but I am agog at you not once but twice quoting T swizzle lyrics. I greatly enjoy this from you.
Not a Swift hater or liker, necessarily, but it got me to thinking. Taylor has been around a while now, who writes her songs?

I found this:
She, no doubt writes some or many of her songs. I doubt she writes as many as might be credited to her? Aside: I also doubt that many of the Beatles songs were written by McCartney & Lennon.

Edit: At least Taylor admits to not writing all her music.

Back to the SB!

Can't lose game for me. Lifelong Chiefs fan so if they win great but if Purdy wins that's amazing too.

I actually don't think this will be all that close. Chiefs by 10+

I think the Chiefs' front will cause a lot of issues for SF in general and then SF's leaky defense will be a problem.

KC is the definition of 'don't trust the regular season'.

Been watching football my whole life. Since I was a kid didn't really have a team. This is the first SB I'm emotionally invested in who is playing. Not sure what do with myself.

The Beatles absolutely wrote their own music. Watch the Get Back documentary to see them creating new song after new song just jamming together.

It’s tempting to take the Alt spread - Chiefs -6.5 at +260 or -9.5 at +400

KC is the definition of 'don't trust the regular season'.
“It's worth noting Purdy thrived against the blitz this season, finishing first among all quarterbacks in yards per attempt, passer rating and Pass EPA — all while accumulating a 15:2 TD:INT ratio and a near 70% completion percentage.”

Both QBs are Blitz equalizers. KC is a top 7 Blitz rate team but SF is in the bottom of Blitz rate.

So Brock Purdy will see the Blitz. Is he going to continue his success or is the moment too big ?

Look for Kyle Shanahan to utilize CMC and Deebo early and using Play Action where SF thrives, and keep ahead of the chains.

You could sprinkle “Will There Be Overtime”at 11-1 to hedge a close game.

This game rates as one of the highest likely OT games of the year.

Mostly due to Kicking success and lack of 2 point attempts.

So f'ing tired of broadcasters still shooting in 720 or 1080. Even for what is expected to be the most watched TV event of all time.

Can I watch Super Bowl 58 in 4K?

Yes, you can, sort of. CBS has confirmed that it will be the first network to offer both a 1080p and a 4K version with HDR (High Dynamic Range) support, which should provide an even better visual experience if your TV supports those formats

However, the TV Answer Man website has confirmed that the 4K HDR version won't be a native stream but will be upscaled from its 1080p HDR broadcast. Still, the 4K HDR version should look better than the 1080p HDR edition.

Who is showing Super Bowl LVIII in 4K HDR?

According to the TV Answer Man site, a number of cable, satellite, and internet-based TV services will show the game with its 4K HDR resolution. They include DIRECTV, DIRECTV Stream, Fubo, Optimum TV, Cox Cable, Dish, Comcast, Verizon, and YouTube TV.

For cord-cutting streamers who don't have a cable or satellite subscription, FuboTV is your best bet to watch the game in 4K HDR. You can access its service with a seven-day free trial. YouTube TV also has a free trial, but unfortunately, it only offers 4K support with a paid add-on.

The game will also be live-streamed on the Paramount+ streaming service, but for some reason, it will only have the 1080p HDR stream. People who use Charter Spectrum's cable TV service are also stuck with 1080p HDR.
This drives me crazy too. How long has "4K" been used as a marketing tool and yet we barely get a handful of sporting events in 4K? And if the super bowl is only upscaled, then its NOT 4K.
Maybe if ATSC 3.0/NextGen ever gets really rolling we'll see more programming but there are a lot issues happening with that now. I've kind of given up seeing any real 4K sports or programming in a LONG time.

Nah. Brock hates OT. He’ll end it in the second and third quarters.

If they show more clips of Brock’s girlfriend than Taylor, you know it’s going bad for the Chiefs.

Well George did throw in a few, but the vast majority of songs the Beatles recorded were written by Lennon and McCartney. The duo would allow Harrison to get one song an album and they would wrote the rest. Lennon's name going first always bugged McCartney, he thought him and John had an agreement that whichever one, was the primary writer, that name should be listed first on the record, telling everyone which one had written it. The record label was against it, so it never happened. After the death of Lennon, McCartney who by then owned most of the rights to their songs wanted to correct what he saw as wrong. When word got out, Lennon's wife Yoko had a cow about it, and McCartney backed down saying he would not change them. Together the two of them wrote around 180 songs.

On a few of the early releases the writing credits did list as McCartney first. There is also a very early one with McCartney misspelled.
