I didn’t act like anything. Free throw shooting all comes down to practice practice practice. its repetition, and building muscle memory. Saying “they’re not a good free throw shooting team" is an excuse and that’s all.

It goes far beyond muscle memory or you would see a ton of guys shooting 90+%.

Can you point me to any team in the country that has 4 or 5 90+% free throw shooters? Since they're so much more coached in muscle memory?

Is ISU a good shooting team? Do you not think they practice free throws? A Division 1 basketball team? Yes or no?

Here's what I don't understand if the clock malfunctions at the beginning of a possession earlier in the game they reset to 30 and whatever the game clock red. This shouldn't be any different.

Love TJ and the program. But there continues to be low offensive output or huge scoring droughts pretty consistently. We have a lot of games where we have 4 minute plus scoring droughts. Tonight we had one one FG in an 8 minute stretch. I wish as a program, we can figure out a way to stay out of these scoring lulls. TJ's teams play hard, no doubt about that, but they need to play with higher BB IQ. Tonight, their BB IQ in the last 4 minutes was some of the worst I have ever seen. That game was there for the taking, we lost it between the ears.

One bright spot was the team having the confidence in Milan to take the potential game winning shot. Hitting the shot was huge for his confidence even though it was a few tenths late.
I just wish they would have brought him straight off a curl without the extra pass. Almost impossible to pull that off with the time they had.

You miss 13 free throws winning becomes extremely difficult!
We showed fight but just didn’t play very well.

We had no business being in it. Between that, the horrible camera angle, and the rebounding we decided to watch the first episode of Masters of the Air.

It opens up some liabilities, but King should have been on the bench. Go really small with CuJo, Lipsey, Gilbert, Milan, and Jones or have Watson out there for some length. Not that Demarion looked great but King's awareness, offensive decision making, and rebounding were just terrible. I literally have never seen such a physical specimen be so brutal at bodying up and timing a jump. It's not that hard.

The best takeaway is that they didn't quit, on the road, after being down 12. This is a game we NEEDED to win if we really want to win the conference.

Texas is a really tough game on paper. If we somehow pull that off this trip is still a major win as that one looked like a loss from the git go.

Give it up…you obviously don’t understand athletics. I’ll give you an example that might actually make sense to you your limited understanding. Jake Sullivan used to be a masterful three-point shooter. How did he do it? He said that after every practice he put up over 100 three-point shots on his own. Do you think that had a little impact on his success? It’s about extra effort and wanting to be successful at various aspects of the game.

Feel like King is pretty feast or famine depending on the matchup. Played great against KU and really struggled tonight

The ref math screwed us. We should have had at least 1.5 seconds if not the full 2
Maybe. But if the clock guy hadn't started the clock so soon, we don't even get the ball w/ 1.2 sec.

The clock would have run out on the missed FT. It ballanced out on that one. We lost the game by not making a few more shots, and by missing too many FT's.

Good effort by the team though. Games don't always go your way. I had no thoughts we might win that game until that 20-1 run. That was crazy!

Beat ourselves in this one. 7 points in the last 8min and 13 missed free throws. This team on the road is an interesting thing

The lack of preparedness down the stretch is the only thing that bothers me. We were ahead by 7 with about 6 minutes to go and then ran no offense. The last 5 minutes was really really poor.

We need to get better at the line, and we need to do something other than that weak weave and ball screen down the stretch. We just have to be better offensively in those situations if they want to really make a run in March.
